Pinellas County FMNP Chapter/Continued Education Committee

FMNP facilitator: Jeanne Murphy, Sensing Nature, LLC
Phone: 727-397-2306
Meetings: 9:30am - 12pm on the second Tuesday of each month
Meeting location: Alternates between the Weedon Island Preserve Education Center and the Largo Library

First meeting July 12, 2004:

Our Pinellas FMNP Continued Education Committee decided on these goals at our first meeting...

Community Outreach, Personal Growth, and Socialization. For now, we are focusing on Pinellas County and our group of graduated FMNs.

We have exhibited the FMNP booth and educated the public about Florida’s natural systems and wildlife at five environmental events, and one field trip to Gainesville. We currently have 11 members.

Not a member? Sign up!

What is happening throughout Pinellas County!

What can you offer… time, site, adventure, tools, knowledge, products, ideas?

Message from Jeanne Murphy:

If you are an FMNP graduate from our county or a neighboring one, we hope that you will be able to join us at our next meeting. Our meeting information is listed at the top of this webpage.

If you are interested in attending, please let me know. If you are unable (or, gasp, uninterested), please still consider joining us on our field trips and other events that we organize. This committee is for you!
