FMNP Regional and Local Chapters
As the FMNP grows, we recognize that
there will be local needs, opportunities and the desire of FMNP graduates
not only to volunteer but to become more involved in environmental events
and projects in their community. The most efficient way of organizing these
opportunities is to develop FMNP Chapters under the facilitation of FMNP Instructors and participation of FMNP graduates.
For example, field
trips, special topic guest speakers, and conservation activities could be
identified and hosted by a FMNP Chapter. It is the desire of the FMNP Program Office to assist
in this effort by providing FMNP chapters with the
tools they require to meet their goals. This website is the beginning of
that process. The formation of Regional and Local Chapters will provide direct
benefits to FMNP Instructors and Students as they continue their life long
learning and discovery process. We intend to report all the great
accomplishments each chapter completes so that everyone recognizes the
continuing contributions of the FMNP.

more chapters is currently under way.
