Identifiers- upper lip splotched white and black, green to
gray body color, elongate spots
- 1.25" Adaptations- padded toes, tree frog family Status-
common in some areas, found in central and south Florida Distribution-
Subspecies of Pseudacris nigrita Habitat- pine
woodland ponds, marshes, ditches, wooded ponds
Reproduction- dictated by rain, may reproduce later in south Florida,
several hundred eggs laid

- genus name comes from the Greek pseudes (false) and akris
(locust), for the rasping trill of chorus frogs
