Identifiers- 4-12' shrub, large green leaves with 3-7
lobes,
white flowers on 10" panicles
Adaptations- deciduous, underside of leaves and new
branches are hairy
Status- found in NW Florida panhandle and Marion county, native species
Distribution- southeastern U.S.A.
Habitat- mesic upland forests

- deer will browse plant

- intolerant of frost, leaves will change color in fall
