FMNP Videos
The Florida Master Naturalist Program video series for the
Coastal Systems module
and
Freshwater
Wetlands module and
Upland Habitats module are available for purchase
on the University of Florida/IFAS Extension Bookstore Website
under the Natural Resources and Wildlife subject category. Or, simply click
on the module names above.
These are the same videos FMNP students are shown in their naturalist
classes. The videos are great education tools for; public/private schools,
organizations, special clubs/groups, or community associations. Nature
centers, parks and refuges can utilize these videos to draw visitors. The
videos are also great gifts for nature enthusiasts or new comers to our
state that want to learn more about Florida's environment. If you are an

So, join your host, Dr. Marty Main, UF/IFAS Wildlife Ecologist, as he and
his guests explore Florida's incredible Coastal habitats. This four part
series takes you on a journey through Florida's beach and dune systems, it's
estuaries, and nearshore areas-- providing information on their important
ecological contributions to the Florida environment. The Coastal series
titles are Florida's Beach and Dune Systems (34:10 minutes), Florida's
Estuaries (33:34 minutes),
Florida's Nearshore Environments (25:10 minutes) and Coastal Systems in the
Human Landscape (28:20 minutes).
The Freshwater Wetland series explores Florida's freshwater wetland habitats. This four part
series
takes you on a journey through swamps, marshes, rivers, lakes and springs-- providing
information
on their important ecological contributions to the Florida environment. The Wetlands
series titles are
Florida's Swamps (22:00), Florida's Marshes (33:00), Florida's Lakes, Rivers and Springs
(27:52)
and Wetlands in the Modern Human Landscape (19:40).
